Terracycle Information

In an effort to make a positive impact on our environment, during snack and lunch, we have been collecting all brands of squeezable snack plastic pouches and their caps. Once we have accumulated 10 pounds, we will send them in and receive a monetary donation for our school. Once Terracycle receives our shipment, the snack plastic pouches and their caps are cleaned and separated by material type. The materials are recycled into raw formats that manufacturers use to make new products. 

If you are a family who is interested in supporting our efforts and are currently throwing those plastic pouches and caps into the garbage, please consider sending them to school with your child to bring to the office. You do not need to rinse the pouches. We will continue to collect pouches throughout the summer as well as Ms. Naparalla is in the office almost daily. The picture shows the GoGo Squeez brand but you can send in any brand and be certain to include the caps! Thank you for joining our recycling efforts!
